DAY 1 |
Arrival in Sofia. Meet and greet with the guide at the airport. Transfer to the city center for a city tour including a visit of Alexander Nevski Cathedral and St. George Rotunda. Free time for shopping in the city center. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Overnight in Sofia.
DAY 2 |
Breakfast. One day tour to Plovdiv – European capital of culture 2019 (2 hours’ drive, 150 km). Sightseeing tour of Old Plovdiv - Ethnographic Museum, Roman Stadium, St. Constantine and Helena Church, the Roman Theatre. (about 2,5 walking tour). Drive back to Sofia in the evening. Overnight in Sofia.
DAY 3 |
Breakfast. Check-out the hotel and departure for Serbia. On the way visit the city of Nis – walking tour along the central pedestrian street and visit of Nis Fortress. Arrival in Belgrade in the late afternoon. Visit of St. Sava Church – largest Orthodox church on the Balkan Peninsula. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 4 |
Breakfast. Walking tour in Belgrade from the Republic Square along the main pedestrian street to Kalemegdan Park and the Belgrade Fortress with its picturesque panorama to Sava and Danube rivers. Free afternoon for time at leisure or optional half day tour to Novi Sad. Overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 5 |
Breakfast. Check-out hotel and departure for Bosna and Herzegovina. Arrival in Sarajevo in the afternoon. Sightseeing tour of Sarajevo. Accommodation and overnight in Sarajevo.
DAY 6 |
Breakfast. Drive to the beautiful town of Mostar. Photo break at the Old Bridge - built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. Departure for Split Riviera. Accommodation and overnight in the area of Split.
DAY 7 |
Breakfast. City tour of Split - Diocletian palace which is the heart of the nowadays city. Walking tour (1 hour) around the squares – Peristyle, People's, Fruit, Republican. Walking tour of Trogir (45 minutes) – town museum where you can admire the narrow streets, Romanesque and Gothic architecture and of course the spectacular St. Lawrence cathedral. Overnight in the area of Split.
DAY 8 |
Breakfast. Check-out the hotel and departure for Plitvice National Park - one of the most beautiful and best preserved national parks in the country. This is why the entire lakes and surrounding area are listed on the UNESCO`s list of World Heritage Sites. Drive to Zagreb in the evening. Accommodation and overnight in Zagreb.
DAY 9 |
Breakfast. Walking tour of Zagreb (2 hours). The biggest Catholic cathedral in Croatia, Dolac market, mediaeval Stone Gate, St Mark's church, Ban Josip Jelacic central square. Free time in the center for a walk around the parks or individual visit to museums. Afternoon – free time for leisure and shopping. Overnight in Zagreb.
DAY 10 |
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Zagreb and departure.
