DAILY PROGRAM

DAY 1

Arrival at Varna Airport. Transfer with English assistance to your hotel in Varna. Check-in at hotel. The rest of the day is yours for time at leisure. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Varna.

DAY 2

Breakfast. City sightseeing tour of Varna with local guide - the cathedral Assumption of the Virgin, Roman Thermae, Sea Garden, Archaeological Museum, National Naval Museum, etc. Free afternoon for time at leisure or beach. Optional dinner at traditional restaurant in Varna. Overnight in Varna.

DAY 3

Breakfast. One day tour to Nessebar and Sunny Beach. Transfer to Nessebar. Guided tour of the ancient town with millennia old history, situated on a romantic rocky peninsula, connected to the mainland via narrow isthmus. Valuable monuments from all stages of its long existence are preserved here: remnants of fortress walls from the Roman times and the Middle Ages, old Byzantine and Bulgarian churches, traditional 18th and 19th century houses. Visit of the famous sea resort Sunny Beach. Driver back to Varna. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Varna.

DAY 4

Breakfast. Drive to Balchik - a small coastal town on the Black Sea. Visit to the Palace of Romanian Queen Mary I - famous as the Quiet Nest. This complex has been constructed by orders of the excentric queen combining European, Balkan and Oriental motives. Free time at Balchik Botanical gardens - among the largest in Bulgaria they are famous for the second in Europe collection of cacti. Departure for Romania. Arrival in Bucharest in the evening. Check-in and optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Bucharest.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Bucharest with local guide – the Palace of Parliament (House of People), Palace Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Athenaeum, Triumphal Arch, etc. Free afternoon for exploring the city – one may visit the Palace of Parliament, stroll in the Old town and the main pedestrian area, visit museums, etc. In the evening optional dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Bucharest.

DAY 6

Breakfast. Check-out. Transfer to Bucharest International Airport and departure.
