BRASOV, ROMANIA

Poiana Brasov is a ski resort in Romania, located 13 km from Brasov. Originally it was thought of as a tourist district of Brasov. The first construction began in 1904. The total lenght of the ski tracks is 20 km with varying difficulty. In the complex there are lots of sports playgrounds, ice rinks and big hotels which are typical for all modern ski resorts today. The ski season most often lasts from December to March. The mountain offers many beautiful views, complemented by fresh mountain air.
