MOSTAR, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Mostar is political, financial, religious and cultural center of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and unofficial capital of the Herzegovina region. It is situated about 60 km from the Adriatic sea, in the valley of Neretva, between the mountains of Velez, Hum and Cabulya, which are part of the vast mountain chain on the Balkans - The Dinarides.
