DAILY PROGRAM

DAY 1

Arrival in Sofia. Transfer to the hotel for accommodation and time at leisure till the end of the day. Overnight in Sofia.

DAY 2

After breakfast, proceed for Guided City Tour of Sofia & hear about the history of fascinating city. Free time in the city center. In the afternoon a tour of Vitosha Mountain, located in the vicinity of Sofia. Transfer to Plovdiv. Accommodation at hotel. Overnight in Plovdiv.

DAY 3

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Plovdiv, including visit to the Old town - Ethnographic Museum, Roman Stadium, St. Constantine and Helena Church, etc. Visit to the Roman Theatre, which was build in the 2nd century AD under the rule of the Roman emperor Trajan and is nowadays considered to be the largest surviving Roman construction in Bulgaria. In the afternoon a trip to the famous Bachkovo Monastery, located only 20 minutes’ drive from Plovdiv. Drive back to Plovdiv. Overnight in Plovdiv.

DAY 4

Breakfast. Check-out the hotel and departure for the beautiful town of Veliko Tarnovo. On the way stop for a visit to the Valley of Roses and the town of Kazanlak famous for the Thracian tomb included in the list of UNESCO. Pass the mountainous Shipka Pass and short break at the ethnographic open-air museum Etara. Arrival in Veliko Tarnovo in the late afternoon. Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Veliko Tarnovo with a visit of the mediaeval Tsarevets Fortress located on the picturesque hill, Samovodska street market, etc. Drive o the located nearby village of Arbanassi, declared for an architectural reserve. Drive to the village of Arbanassi, famous for its well preserved 17th and 18th century churches and the typical Revival architecture of its houses. In the afternoon departure for Bucharest. Arrival in Bucharest in the evening. Accommodation and overnight in Bucharest.

DAY 6

Guided sightseeing tour of Bucharest with local guide. the Palace of Parliament (House of People), Palace Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Athenaeum, Triumphal Arch, etc. Free afternoon for exploring the city – one may visit the Palace of Parliament, stroll in the Old town and the main pedestrian area, visit museums, etc. Departure for Sinaia. Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Sinaia.

DAY 7

Breakfast. Morning visit of the famous Peles Castle in Sinaia. A tour to Bran for a visit of the popular Dracula`s Castle and a city tour in the old mediaeval part in the town of Brasov. Drive back to Sinaia. Overnight in Sinaia.

DAY 8

After breakfast proceed from Sinaia to Bucharest airport for your departure.
