Departure at 8:00 a.m. in front of Bohemia Gray Line`s office (address: 7 Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov Blvd., Sofia).

Departure for the town of Melnik. Guided walking tour with visit to Kordopulova House Museum (the entrance fee is not included). Melnik is the smallest town in Bulgaria, located amidst magnificent rock formations. Declared an architectural reserve, here you can witness original medieval houses together with the ruins of an old fortress. The town and the region are famous for their wine cellars producing the best red wine in the country.
Departure for Rozhen Monastery. Built in the 13th century, it is located to the east of Melnik. The iconostasis, the woodcarvings and the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary in the monastery church are real masterpieces of local artisans.
Return to Sofia.
